Personally, if I did it again I would bite the bullet and buy 4 forces to play muhfuz’s blue list with rainbow mana base until I can buy LEDs or find LEDs to borrow/proxy. Dread return tends to be a sideboard card for ashen rider to destroy lock pieces like Ensnaring Bridge. If you have your engine online you’re probably already winning, it’s generally just not worth it. The handful of dedicated Manaless players have started moving away from the combo kill with dread return.

Again, on paper it’s easy to think FoW isn’t a big deal since it doesn’t stop dredges but it does stop your enabler so it’s a big deal. More decks play Endruance, more play Leyline, and then they have access to cards like FoW. Grave hate is the same as modern minus Sanctifier En-Vec and plus a ton of stuff. Manaless sounds fine on paper, I thought “oh it’s not competitive but I just wanna flip cards!” There are sooo many non-games with that deck, it’s not worth it. IMO LED is the best thing you can do and Manaless is a trap. Went from Modern Dredge to Manaless in paper and LED on MTGO.
