Only with recent firmware updates to the single bay My Cloud has the WD Desktop program stopped working. Generally with respect to the My Cloud when one mentions Desktop it often refers to the WD Desktop program/software that has been End of Life (EoL) since sometime in 2016. Windows File Explorer/Mac Finder and similar programs are file manager type programs. Change the Sync Direction to 'This wallet synchronizes with.My Cloud content can be accessed locally using Windows Explorer or macOS Finder.Select the Dropbox or iCloud Sync Location (the sync direction is likely 'None' at this point).If your Dropbox or iCloud account is listed as one of the Sync Locations:.Choose the Select the open wallet option button and press Next.If your Dropbox or iCloud account is not listed as one of the Sync Locations:.Start eWallet and open the local wallet you want to sync with.I have a local wallet, but haven't yet created a cloud wallet Press Close in the Setup Complete panel and then Close in the Sync Manager panel.Select the location you'd like to store the local wallet and press Save.For Dropbox: Enter the password for the cloud wallet and press Next.Select the cloud wallet that you want to sync with and press Next to turn on sync for that wallet.For Dropbox: If necessary, enter any appropriate credentials and allow access to Dropbox otherwise select your Sync Location and press Next.Start the Sync Manager from the toolbar area or by selecting Sync Manager… from the Synchronize menu.Start eWallet and close/lock any wallet that might be open.I have cloud wallet but don't yet have a local walletįollow these steps, or check out the video below:
